Colossians 1:15–17 (NKJV)
“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible… All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”

Jesus Christ is the perfect revelation of the invisible God. To see Christ is to see the Father (John 14:9 NKJV). He is not a created being, but the supreme Creator, sovereign over all creation. Everything in heaven and on earth—visible and invisible—owes its existence to Him. From galaxies to human life, all were created through Him and for Him.

He is before all things, meaning He is eternal (John 1:1–3 NKJV). Not only did He create all things, but He sustains them; in Him all things consist. Our lives, families, ministries, and the church are upheld by His power.

As we reflect on grace and truth, we praise Jesus as Creator and Sustainer. Let our worship acknowledge His authority, His power, and His rightful place as Lord over all.

Prayer Ponits:

  1. Heavenly Father, we thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ into the world (that He made) to become one of us so that in Him, we might have redemption, forgiveness of sin and become Your children and heirs of Your kingdom. Thank You that we have an eternal inheritance that is kept for us in heaven in Jesus’ name.
  2. Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word of truth and for revealing Jesus to us through the Scriptures. Thank You that He set aside His eternal glory and came to dwell among us as a Man and identified with our sinfulness so that by faith, we could be forgiven of our sins and be identified with His righteousness in Jesus’ name.
  3. Thank You because in Christ, we live, and move, and have our being, thank You because He holds all things together by the strength of His great and mighty power in Jesus’ name.
  4. Everlasting Father, we thank You because it is only in Jesus Christ that our hope is found, we praise You because by His death and resurrection, we have the assurance that we too will be raised from the dead in Jesus’ name.
  5. Heavenly Father, thank You for Your simple Gospel of grace, that saved us from our sins and placed us in Christ, in Whom all fullness dwells. Help us to understand more of Your Word and to develop a simple, childlike faith that is pleasing to You in Jesus’ name.
  6. Thank You, Father, for reconciling the world back to Yourself through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and forgiving our sins so that we may be clothed in Christ’s inexhaustible righteousness in Jesus’ name.
  7. Father in heaven, we thank You because our salvation, sanctification, and glorification do not depend on what we do but on what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross of Calvary in Jesus’ name.
  8. Jesus, we adore You as our Creator, we praise You as our Sustainer, we worship You for giving us life, we magnify You for sustaining our lives and the lives of all those around us in Jesus’ name.
  9. Lord Jesus, You are worthy of all our praise and adoration; because of You, we don’t have to guess what God is like or create our own image of Him. Everything we need to know about God is revealed in and through You in Jesus’ name.
  10. Father, we thank You for the Gospel of grace and the wonderful truths that are contained in Your Word. Help us to abide in Christ and to live our lives in total dependence on You so that we may be fruitful in Jesus’ name.
  11. We thank You because we have Your righteousness by grace through our faith in Jesus. Thank You for making us members of His Body, and through His Resurrection, we too will be raised and reign with Him in Jesus’ name.
  12. Father, forgive us for the times we have doubted Your power as the Creator of all things and sought after other powers in Jesus’ name.
  13. Holy Spirit, help us to believe and trust that God holds our lives together even when situations in our lives are chaotic in Jesus’ name.
  14. Holy Spirit, help our eyes to remain open to who Jesus is so that we will always find confidence in His infinite power in Jesus’ name.
  15. Glory, honour and adoration to You, Lord, the Creator of all things in Jesus’ name.
