Our Warfare weapons are not carnal but mighty in the LORD.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

Warfare Weapons

The Bible says our warfare weapons are not carnal but mighty in God in pulling down strongholds etc. The word here is’Mighty in God’. It has been established that God is the one who fights every battle yielded to Him. For the Christian, the weapons of warfare are not human, as a Soldier in the Lord’s Army, you cannot fight wars or battles like the world soldiers who go to war with guns, machine guns and other physical instruments of war.
Ephesians 6:10-20 brings much clarity to this.

The Christian battle is not against flesh and blood, it’s not a physical one, it’s spiritual so it cannot be fought carnally. Righteousness, Truth, Salvation, The Word of God, Prayer, Peace, Faith, Praise, The Blood of Jesus, Fasting, Testimonies, The Name of Jesus….these and more are the Christian’s warfare weapons. 2 Timothy 2:4 says the Christian should not entangle himself with the affairs of this life and should be a Soldier he has been called to be. Some other non conventional weapons of a Christian’s warfare are Total Obedience, Returning good for evil, Humility, Forgiveness, Love etc

Remember you are a Soldier of Christ…..
