Yoke breaking, yoke destroying anointing come upon us.
“It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” Isaiah 10:27
EXPOSITION:
In the dictionary yoke is defined as a “a wooden bar or frame by which two draft animals such as oxen, are joined at the heads or necks for working together.”
In the Bible yoke connotes and implies that anyone that is yoked is in bondage to serve, to carry another person’s burden. The yoke bearer is constrained, restricted, and limited to make choices as he pleases, meaning that his permissive will, as given by God has been withdrawn from him.
As physical yoke infringes on the freedom of the animals that are yoked, so does spiritual yoke, it not only infringes, but limits and stagnates those who are put under yoke. Yoke in the spiritual realm is a burden, a weight that weighs down the bearer; it could be in form of affliction of sickness, disease or infirmity, lack, poverty, debt, addictions of different kinds, even the works to the flesh as listed in Galatians 5:19-21 and sinful life styles are in the list of yoke elements that forces of evil put on people without them knowing. Simply put, yoke of any kind is evil and awful! In any yoke that the one reading this write-up may be, you are set loose forthwith in the name of Jesus.
For believers, spiritual resources are available for us as solution to yokes. One of these is as presented in Isaiah 10:27 which reads: “It shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” The anointing that breaks and destroys yokes will freshly come upon us this season and shall remain permanent on us in the name of Jesus.
As have been said, yoke is a burden that stresses, presses, and weighs one down, but in Matthew 28:11 Jesus makes a loving and caring call saying: “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Also in Psalm 55:22 it is written, “Cast your burden on to the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”
Beloved, holy, and righteous living is not meant to be for this season only; it should be for all seasons, it should be a lifestyle. Holy and righteous living is an antidote, divine expellant to all evils including the evil yoke as being addressed today. The last sentence in Psalm 55:22 cited above says: “He, (God), shall not permit the righteous to be moved.”
The grace to continue to live holy and righteously will come upon us newly; yokes of whatever kind in our lives will be broken and destroyed totally and permanently in the name of Jesus. God bless you. SHALOM. – Pastor Jide Siwoku
Prayer Points:
1. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for yet another time in Your presence in Jesus’ name. (Psalm 9:1).
2. Father, as we pray, anoint us with Your Holy Spirit and power! Let your anointing fall on us as never before in Jesus’ name.
3. Lord, restore Your presence to us in Jesus’ name.
4. Father, break every yoke of dry grounds that frustrate our efforts in Jesus’ name.
5. Father, bless our grounds to be fruitful and yield increase in Jesus’ name.
6. Father, rebuke every devourer for our sake. Every devourer feasting on our grains and store house is rebuked in the name of Jesus.
7. We decree divine vengeance against every yoke that ties us to any evil locality in Jesus’ name.
8. Any yoke that will not allow this commission to break territorial confinement is rebuked and broken in Jesus’ name.
9. Lord, I break loose from every terrestrial and spiritual yoke and bandage in Jesus’ name. (Jeremiah 30:8).
10. Lord, I decree and declare that the yoke of barrenness of any form be broken and destroyed in my life, in my family and in my ministry in Jesus’ name.
11. Blood of Jesus ×3, walk into my life uproot and erase the effect of every weed that was planted into my life by the enemy while I slept in Jesus’ name. (Matthew 13:30-40).
12. Lord, I break and destroy every form of yoke operating in my life, my home, my business and my ministry by the blood of Jesus. (1Peter 1:18-19).
13. I receive fresh anointing and I destroy generational oppression, curse, witchcraft, delay and stagnancy that is stopping me from moving forward by the blood of Jesus. (Psalm 28:7).
14. Every chain rope, belt, handcuff, shackle, yoke, prison or cage that is stopping me from moving forward is destroyed to pieces by the hammer of Jehovah in Jesus’ mighty name. (Jeremiah 23:29).
15. Holy Spirit, ignite me with a fresh anointing for battle right now in the name of Jesus. (1 John 2:27).
16. We seal every prayer point in the blood of Jesus. Thank You, Lord, for answered prayers in Jesus’ name.
