Merciful God, pardon, forgive and blot out every sin that can hinder our blessings during this prayer season.
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all.” 1 John 1:8-9

“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.” Isaiah 43:25
We thank God for the 6th day of our Lent, a season of prayer and fasting; may God sustain us and give us the grace to end it well. Today we are asking for pardon from the merciful God to forgive us of all our iniquities as sinners.
Sin is a factor that can hinder us from receiving from God and severing our relationship with Him. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). All he has asked us to do is to come to repentance and forsake our old ways and be renewed in Christ Jesus.
Sin shall no longer have dominion over us (Romans 6:14) for we have found grace and mercy in God. Our dominion over sin is total and complete, we are no longer subject to the whims and caprices of the devil through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Also, let’s remember to forgive all those who have wronged us so that our heavenly father can forgive us as well (Luke 11:4).
May God’s hand be upon us mightily to do great and mighty things in Jesus’ name.

3. Our Redeemer, we praise Your name, because Your blood has opened the door of mercy for us as we approach Your altar in prayer in Jesus’ name.

7. O Lord, we pray for forgiveness and mercy for all our sins that have separated us from You and have been hinderances to our prayer in Jesus’ name. (Isaiah 59:2; Psalm 51:1-2).
8. O Lord, we confess our sins before You and are ready to forsake them by Your grace. Have mercy upon us in Jesus’ name. (Proverbs 28:13; Isaiah 30:18).
9. Father, all our individual and collective sins, that may make us to become victims in the hands of the wicked ones, in Your mercy, pardon and forgive us in Jesus’ name. (Psalm 66:18).
10. Create in us new heart, O Lord and renew Your right Spirit within us in Jesus’ name. (Psalms 24:4, Psalm 34:4).
11. O Lord, have mercy and be compassionate on us because of Your goodness in Jesus’ name. (Psalm 25:6-7; Psalm 50:4-5).
12. By Your great Hand of Mercy, raise me up from sins (mention them) and save me, in the name of Jesus. (Romans 10:9).
13. I receive the grace to seek after Your kingdom and righteousness alone so that everything I am looking for shall be added unto me, in the name of Jesus. (Matthew 6:33).
14. Any secret sins I am harbouring that are not blessing my life, I decree they shall be destroyed, in the name of Jesus. (Galatians 5:19-21).
15. Lord Jesus, we give You honour and adoration for answering our prayers in Jesus’ name.
