Who We Are
Welcome to Christ Apostolic Church, Surrey Docks! A church in the heart of God and His purpose. A home away from home, a lighthouse in the midst of darkness and an oasis in the midst of deserts. Welcome home………..
The church hierarchy has a five fold responsibility to provide all our members with a prayerful and assured spiritual covering, a dedicated pastoral welfare programme, a strong mentoring through our house fellowships, a caring and conducive atmosphere for worship and spiritual growth; and a sound opportunity for close fellowship with each other, within and outside the church…….

What to Expect When You Visit
-
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
-
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. This God exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. The Triune-God is totally loving and completely holy.
-
We believe that sin separates each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
-
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He is the only One who can reconcile us to God because He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
-
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
-
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit then enables us to use our spiritual gifts in service to God and humanity.
-
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly for fellowship, prayer and the Communion.
-
We believe that God has equipped us both individually and as a body, so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives – which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
-
We believe that a believer taps into the divine empowerment by imbibing good spiritual disciplines or habits such as: meditation on scripture, fasting, evangelism, reading godly literature and regular but cheerful giving.
-
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.
-
We believe that a person’s eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by their response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
-
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised both to judge and reward everyone for their deed.
Lo, Children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward – Ps 127:3
